Frequency depends on wound type, healing progress, and physician orders. Some wounds require daily dressing changes; others every 2–3 days. Our RPN will determine the appropriate schedule during the initial assessment.
Yes. Our RPNs provide progress notes and communicate directly with your medical team, particularly if a wound shows signs of infection, dehiscence, or delayed healing. We consider ourselves an extension of your healthcare team.
Our RPNs carry a full sterile dressing kit to every visit including gloves, drapes, wound cleansers, appropriate dressing products, and documentation materials. You do not need to purchase any supplies.
