A PSW (Personal Support Worker) provides daily living assistance — grooming, meals, companionship. An RPN (Registered Practical Nurse) is a regulated healthcare professional licensed by the CNO who can perform clinical nursing acts including injections, wound care, and health assessments. Many clients benefit from both.
Yes. Every Ewa Care RPN holds current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. You can verify any registration at cno.org. We provide registration numbers upon request.
No referral is required to arrange RPN home care. However, for certain clinical acts, our RPN will work from a physician's order. If you don't have one, our RPN can conduct an initial assessment and liaise with your doctor.
RPN clinical services range from $38–$55/hr depending on the service type and schedule. PSW services are $22–$32/hr. Many clients combine both levels for best value. Call us for a personalised quote.
